Our story started back in our junior year of high school, in a crowded hallway and a moment of courage that didn’t quite land. I saw Vinny, tried to catcall him… and failed spectacularly. Lucky for us, my cousin was there. She doubled back, talked to his friend, and got his social media for me. From that moment on, we started texting—and we never really stopped.

What began as teenage conversations quickly grew into something deeper. We grew up together, learning how to navigate life beyond high school, facing challenges with family, friendships, and everything in between. We didn’t just fall in love—we chose each other over and over again while figuring out who we were becoming.

Vinny reminds me every day that it’s okay to be vulnerable, to ask for help, and to soften when life feels heavy. Jeziel pushes me toward my dreams and has shown me what it truly feels like to have a family—and the importance of building one rooted in love, patience, and support. In so many ways, we saved each other.

Now, we’re building a life rooted in love, growth, and laughter—and we’ve already started our greatest adventure with our son. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to keep choosing each other for the rest of our lives.
